About this event
What the evening is
An on-stage evening built around one writer: a prepared talk or reading, then a moderated conversation, then audience questions. The house lights come down, the room is quiet, and you hear how the writer actually thinks about their work rather than the version that appears in interviews.
What to expect
- A reading or prepared talk of roughly 45 minutes
- A moderated conversation about craft, research and revision
- Audience questions from the floor microphones
- A signing line afterwards when the writer's schedule allows
Who it suits
Authors who want to hear how a working writer builds a book, and who plan to ask one specific question.
